Alicante is one of the most vibrant and fastest growing on the Spanish coast. Situated between the magnificent beaches with miles of sand and rocky mountain landscape, Alicante offers numerous tourist opportunities. Most visitors spend time on the beaches. And it’s a very good reason. The beaches are simply stunning Alicante – a perfect place for a meeting of the Mediterranean Sea. However, there are also many people who want to avoid the sun, and relax in the shade, away from the beaches in the south. If you are one of them, you’ll be surprised to see how many you can find beautiful parks in Alicante. Despite the hot and dry weather landscape, there are large green areas of the city. Alicante parks are quiet, away from the city center. You can find a place to rest, enjoy the Mediterranean vegetation and spend leisure time. On hot summer days, people gather, playing with children, walking their dogs, sitting in the shade of palm trees, reading a newspaper or enjoy a conversation.
The city green fascinating is not a park, but a walk along the harbor is great. Spain Esplanade walking is our favorite song, always full. It combines the old site of the University of Alicante, on the one hand and the Hotel Melia Postiguet beach on the other side. People usually approached from Rambla Avenue and the Old Town. One exit south of Alicante, is the Palm. This incredible park is situated between Alicante port and beach Urbanova usually traveling by car (well, I was there on my bike). It has hundreds of palm trees and other exotic plants, waterfalls, ponds and bridges of wooden boats. Palm is a favorite picnic area where families enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and many facilities for children. In the summer there are regular family events such as puppet shows in the room.
And that’s not all. There are many great parks, but usually not frequented by tourists. One of them is the Garden Quijano Pantheon. Children in Spain, bullfighting near Plaza de Toros.
