Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour, founded in 1938 and is located just 15 minutes north of downtown Orlando, is one of those wonderful side trips that combine beautiful scenery, a bit of local history, some close to flora exposure and fauna for a relaxing walk in slow moving pontoon boat with 18 passengers, all complete with expert (and sometimes humorous) narration provided by the boat captain.
The route leads through three lakes: Lake Osceola, Lage Virginia and Lake Maitland. In this beautiful day with a clear sky, the boat had hundreds of beautiful water to farms in the past, much of which was originally built in 1920 and originally sold for $ 20,000 when you search for between $ 500,000 and several million Center in Florida real estate market booming now. Even Raccoons are worth between $ 30,000 and $ 40,000.
In Lake Virginia we came near the base of Rollins College, one of the largest listed private humanities colleges in South East, USA, founded in 1885 by New England Congregationalists. Rollins College is the oldest recognized college in Florida, in a small student body of 1,700 students, housed in a beautiful Renaissance Mediterraean 70 acre campus. The apartment is located near the university, for sale from $ 450,000 to $ 1 million. As we approached the narrow Venetian canal, we would have from Lake Virginia to Lake Maitland, our captain reminded us all interesting vegetation growing along the canal: Egyptian papyrus, Spanish moss (airplant and parasitic) bougainvillea flowers Princess and resurrection ferns. We saw many birds, including osprey, bird snake, Great Blue Heron and white egret, a bird that luck every Seminole Indians.
Lake Maitland knew that alligator cave that has attracted 150 alligators in the Everglades of Florida to avoid a dangerous collision between nature and civilization.
After Venice Canal also saw, banana and ginger varied so slowly passed under the Arch of Palmer Avenue bridge. Philodendron, palmgrass bamboo plant called firespikes and interesting arrangement of “air potatoes”, round tubers hanging from the branch of a tree, decorate our trip through the canal.

Firewall controls the water level and, interestingly, all drainage lakes in northern San Juan River, which flows into the Atlantic Ocean near Jacksonville. Kraft Azalea Gardens, located on Lake Maitland disk Alabama Palmer Avenue, contains thousands of azaleas, tropical shrubs and trees. The azaleas are in full bloom in January-March.
Our expert captain noted also several villas that were used as a backdrop in many films and commercials. Lake Maitland also has several small islands bare trees instead of searching for colonies of cormorants, birds, fishing houses that consume up to one kilogram of fish per day.

Life Coaching in Winter Park – the perfect place to advance your engineering in May

Real estate industry is a word that is used here. This is “Location! Location!” As a coach, I feel the purpose of life itself. The days of office coaching clients are cold and boring. Atmosphere of peace and security are necessary and not updated.
I want my clients to use the full sensory experience. When I trained in NLP and Coaching, my mentors California is always to maximize time and accommodate us in any way. This eliminates the potential for entertainment and provides a controlled environment for the fastest focusing.
I always said, “Where attention goes energy flows.” Maintaining client to avoid concentrating the mind is often asked why some coaches prefer life in the office, not a hostile environment, fresh air. Of course, more control gets in the car. But for me, I want people to open up and blossom likes a flower. A moment of inattention, beautiful song beautiful bird whistle, do not ruin my coaching session. On the contrary, in addition allows us to connect with our Creator and the beauty of nature.
There is sweet peace and tranquility and calm that envelops the soul when out and contact with nature. I wonder also near lakes and oceans, where water tanks eliminate the feeling of being overwhelmed and threw that urban life can bring us.
Since many of my clients are in the Winter Park, Park Avenue is a great favorite. Of course, this may be the perfect place to relax, talk of soul searching, take a quiet walk in the park, and enjoy fine dining.
Mountains and mountains offering spectacular views. I went to school in Clermont, FL is known as the jewel in the hills – one of the few places in these hills condo in Florida.
Whatever the preferences of my client try to flexibility that we meet our meetings, while at the same time, taking into account what you want to achieve and, ultimately, provide ideal conditions for the work of my goals for each meeting single customer.
Results and level of enjoyment client answers I found outside or in special places was unusual. I encourage you all to find your favorite place to meet and have a moment.

Walk through Winter Park – Advice from New England to Florida

A few minutes north of downtown Orlando awaits Winter Park, the charming, picturesque full of history. Scenic boat after my tour, my local expert Wanda Salerno took me for a walk around the town past beautiful historic neighborhoods.
Origin citrus region, Winter Park has become an important place for the rich north in 1900, came to town by train to reach elegant winter shelters, seeking refuge from the cold winters of the north. Elegant mansions and towering oaks and Spanish moss witness this historic moment.
Wanda took me through Winter Park, hidden courtyards, which are
full of shops and malls. Winter Park has many galleries and I was able to try three of them, all of which lead to very different artworks:
- Scott Laurent Collections
- Native Visions Gallery
- Timothy
Our drive took us to the main street in Winter Park, Park Avenue, home to 10 blocks of shops, galleries and restaurants are eclectic. Park Avenue is surrounded on the west side of Central Park, which offers a welcome sanctuary of relaxation with elegant fountain, shaded walkways and benches.
Then we went to visit Casa Feliz (“Happy House” in Spanish), signature residential work of the famous architect James Gamble Rogers II.
In 1932, Robert Bruce Barbour, a chemical engineer from Massachusetts, Rogers commissioned to design a house on Lake Osceola, which was Andalusian-style brick house we see today. This house was not only appreciated by Barbour, but also by the community. Throughout its history, it has hosted visits Garden Club, symphonic concerts, poetry meetings and who author Sinclair Lewis.
In 2001, in order to avoid demolition of the house, Casa Feliz over Interlachen Avenue to its current location on Park Avenue. This movement was one of the most dramatic events of the story Winter Park. Casa Feliz was transported pneumatically leveled on 20 platforms and pulley systems extended to a house about 75 yards per hour. After the house was in a place in a new location, craftsmen worked to restore to its original state in 1933. A special project was commissioned to reflect the landscape of the time style.
Today, Casa Feliz is available to rent for weddings, receptions, business meetings and events. Its unique features provide ideal conditions for an unforgettable event.
As a local cultural center, Winter Park also has three known museums:
- Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, which offers the most extensive collection of works by Louis Comfort Tiffany, Tiffany 1893, in the chapel. The museum also features paintings, furniture and other works, mostly from the 19th and 20th
- Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Garden: three acres of gardens, sculptures and painters Albin Polasek. The museum is on the National Register of Historic Places.
- Cornell Fine Arts Museum, which focuses on the world of 20 century Western art, and includes paintings, drawings, sculptures and other works of art in the United States and Europe. This museum is located at Rollins College, one of the most popular arts colleges in the country.
Winter Park Historical Museum examines different historical periods, the exchange of rotating exhibitions and displays that highlight some of the changes that took place in central Florida.
While exploring the city, my husband actually played a game of 9-hole golf club Winter Park, which is right in the historic district of Winter Park. WPCC is the second oldest team in central Florida and makes for a Winter Park, the city center and offers a challenge to even the most experienced players. He enjoyed his trip and costs $ 12, which was very comfortable to drive on the golf course in good condition.
We limited our trip with dinner at a restaurant called 310 Park Avenue, just off the main street in Winter Park. While much Orlando area is very new, Winter Park is an oasis of history and atmosphere that is perfect for a day of sightseeing.
